Lagos Rugby Union 2 action at the Lagos Rugby Men’s League gets up way on Sunday, 13 May at the Main bowl of the National Stadium, Lagos. The first set of four matches will see Division 2 sides; Dynamite RFC from Kwara face Lagos RFC at 10 am after which Division 2 table toppers, Eco II Rugby Club will take to the field against newcomers, Kings College Old Boys in the second match of the day at 12 pm. Eco II recorded a 41-0 win over Lagos whilst KCOB beat Dynamite 5 – 0 in week 1.

Division 1 matches will see last year’s runners-up; Racing Rugby Club play against defending champions, Cowrie Rugby Club at 2 pm and the final match of the day is between Lagos Police against newly promoted Gosar RFC at 4 pm.

Back into the Cowries side to play fullback is Captain Onoru Jatto and former captain Azeez Ladipo. Both men were missing in action in their win against Lagos Police in week one and are a major boost to the squad. Racing’s prop and newest recruit; Tobi Adebayo will also be looking to repeat his top performance when his team pounced on Gosar RFC in week one. This match promises to be an exciting one.

The Lagos Rugby Union league promises to be a delight to watch. All Rugby fans are encouraged to come down to the Main Bowl of the National Stadium and enjoy a fun Rugby day-out.
